In the books on blogging they teach you never to apologize if you haven't written for a while.
But gosh it's been an awfully long time.
I've been writing though. Just not here. Because as I may have shared before, Quixoting was an enabler. A counselor. And a type of therapy.
When I started Quixoting, it was because I needed a place to breathe. And a place to share some ideas that had been sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing. Taking up space in my mind. And bringing me down.
Down because I let them sit there. It was my fault. I spent too much time longing for their launch and no time actually launching them.
So it was repressive.
So after writing for a year or so here - sometimes with great effort and intent and other times with a lazy attitude - I decided to create an ebook about acting on ideas to summarize everything.
I did that and it felt good.
But once I did that the need to write more here dissipated. I did my job: to launch all the ideas in my idea book in some fashion.
Some here on the blog (so others could act on them) and some in IRL (in real life).
And that has made all the difference.
Because now there's no more longing. Just acting. And doing.
Since I started writing this blog, I've done some important things, helped a lot of people and delivered against a few dreams that nearly died in my bottom drawer.
