For the last 10 weeks I have been selfish. Downright prideful. All this time, I have used 100% of this blog's space for my own personal use. Shameful, I know.
Well, let me tell you that I have seen the light. While I have been blissfully emptying my bottom drawer of ideas and placing them at your feet, you have been quietly (and patiently) waiting for your turn.
So here's your chance to be impulsive. To let Don Quixote's daring nature rise up in you.
But before you do that, here's a little visual motivation. A favorite movie of mine includes a scene called "Sieze the Day". Robin Williams plays the teacher who encourages his students - click to see the scene on
You Tube. My favorite line:
"We are food for worms, lads. Because believe it or not, each and every one of us in this room is one day going to stop breathing and die."
Today I'd like to invite you to jump into the discussion either through a comment (very simple to do if you've never done it before) or by sending me an e-mail (see link in sidebar). Write about an idea that has always been gnawing at you. One that, untested or not shared with the world, will fall atop your list of death bed regrets (OK, maybe that's a bit strong). Regardless, it is time to take a risk.
Hey, I may even (with your permission) feature one of your ideas and write a review. Imagine, your idea - up in lights!
If not, I have plenty more to share. If you are willing to listen . . .
